This class is for all those who wish to work with people of all ages in need of care. It provides all necessary skills for basic health care.
Duration
180 units à 45 minutes and approx. 60 hours on-the-job training à 60 minutes / 8 weeks
Admission requirements
Interest in health care and nursing work
Sufficient German language proficiency
Certificate of good standing
You need to be of good mental and physical health and be ready to work on weekends and do shift duty.
We recommend consulting with your Agentur für Arbeit and apply for a "Bildungsgutschein".

Module 2: Introduction to basic nursing and care
Module 3: How to work ergonomically, take prophylactic measures, and care for patients with musculoskeletal disorders or fever
Module 4: Basic care for patients with neurological, cardiological, pulmonary and endocrinological diseases / emergency procedures
Module 5: Help patients with their excretion and hygiene
Module 6: How to successfully apply for a job / final exam
Module 7: 2 weeks on-the-job training in a full-time or out-patients nursing facility
